Purple Patches

Shallow terrains 

of solitude,

Holocaust seems subdued 

Freedom navigated the hues,

eroding the only refuge

Soon, darkness will forever conceal

the promised purple patches

Blurring the visions

of blissful yesterdays that

never came

and never will.
